The event included the launch of our refreshed values, a look at how performance will be managed moving into the future, an interesting discussion about mindset and how it influences attitudes and behaviours

In May, Assistant Governor (Financial Markets) Christopher Kent has taken over the role of Board Chair from Susan Woods, who served in the role for the last three years.

NPA has a long history of recycling initiatives which now form the foundation for our more recent recycling efforts and our target of diverting more than 70% of our waste from landfill. 

Since formalising its wellbeing program in 2021, Note Printing Australia’s (NPA’s) dedication to engaging employees in health and wellness initiatives has helped transform NPA’s working environment.

On 18 April 2024, NPA was an enthusiastic exhibitor at the Fearless Manufacturing Expo for Women in which our staff engaged in numerous conversations with women jobseekers and local high school students. 

NPA’s sustainability strategy and decarbonisation road map is well on track thanks to the support of the Reserve Bank of Australia Workplace team. Having collaborated for the last two years, the RBA has been proactive in helping reduce NPA’s emissions footprint in three major ways: Energy management, energy infrastructure, and sourcing of renewable energy. 

Described by some as the Ferrari of the banknote processing world, the new BPS X9 that has been installed in the Finishing Department and running full-time since November last year is proving its worth.

One aspect of corporate branding that NPA has focused on in recent months is how we represent our organisation to potential recruits. As has been well documented in the last two years, successfully identifying and bringing new talent into any organisation in Australia has been challenging and NPA is no exception.
