NPA ATTENDS BSP OUTSTANDING STAKEHOLDER APPRECIATION EVENT

LEADERSHIP: As a measure of how seriously BSP regard their suppliers, on Friday 18 July our CEO Malcolm McDowell and Head of Export Customers Nuwan Kalpage were in Manila to attend the 2025 BSP Outstanding Stakeholders Appreciation Ceremony.  NPA had been nominated to attend the event by the BSP Banknotes and Securities Production Management Department.  The event was held in the BSP’s Manila Complex and featured a keynote address by Governor Dr. Eli M. Remolona Jr.

To be successfully selected to attend the event, various BSP departments were required to submit a document summarising the many benefits and achievements that the relationship with the stakeholder had yielded.

BSP's assessment of Note Printing Australia (see attached document) not only headlined the successful launch of the first Philippine polymer banknote series but also cited NPA’s support for BSP’s journey to a ‘polymer-ready environment’ at the site of their future printworks in New Clark City.

"It was a privilege to be included in such an event where the spirit of goodwill and mutual support between BSP and their suppliers was so evident," says Malcolm. "It reconfirms what BSP is seeking in such relationships and convinced me that NPA’s support model is an ideal fit."

Ideal Fit: (L-R) BSP's Assistant Governor Mary Anne P. Lim, Malcolm McDowell, Nuwan Kalpage and BSP’s Director - Banknote and Securities Production Management Department Sarah Severina C. Curtis during the event.
